Vladislav Goldin is a Russian center for the Miami Heat, known for his size, interior defense, and soft touch around the rim. Standing 7’1″ and 250 pounds, Goldin brings a traditional big-man presence to Miami’s frontcourt with a focus on rebounding, screening, and rim protection.
Born in Nalchik, Russia, in 2001, Goldin developed through the Russian basketball system before moving to the United States. He played college basketball at Texas Tech and later at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where he emerged as a key figure during the Owls’ historic 2023 Final Four run. In his senior season, he averaged 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game, showcasing improved touch and consistency.
Selected 40th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, Goldin joined the Heat as part of their focus on size, physicality, and player development. His combination of strength, discipline, and efficient finishing makes him a natural fit for Miami’s system. As he continues to grow into his role, Goldin projects as a reliable interior anchor capable of contributing on both ends of the floor.
